Ligue 1 2017/18 preview

The Ligue 1 is celebrating its 80th birthday in the 2017/18 season. AS Monaco, the reigning champion, who made it also into the semi-finals of the 2016/17 Champions League semi-finals, will have to defend the title most likely against Paris Saint Germain. Bastia, Nancy and Lorient had to leave the Ligue 1 and were replaced by Strasbourg, Amiens and Troyes, which were promoted from the Ligue 2.
